Strong lead character. Strong antagonist. Great supporting characters. Non-stop action. Flows smoothly between action and introspection. Great scenes. Strong character development. You even start caring about the bad guy. You still want a nice ending, but you don't expect to get it.
Highly recommend this book. Highly recommend that if you are new to Sam Sisavath, you can start here. It's a great intro to his style. Nothing heavy, don't need to go backwards in a series to catch up. Start here. Then go read his other work. You will not be disappointed.
I loved this story. The incredibly fast pace, the confrontations between the adversaries all make for a wild ride. Here's hoping Sam Sisavath has written another Allie Krycek novel and of course, included Apollo and Harper, the quiet, pleasant cop who - IMO - is a perfect match for Allie.
Great stuff!!! You'll never forget this one!
Our heroine is determined to kill the man who murdered her sister ten years ago; if she can live long enough. The serial killer on the lose wants her too.
Yes, I'd read another. You go girl.
