Where Glory Meets Our Suffering
Fear. Shame. Loneliness. A broken home. A broken heart. We all hurt, and we all need healing. We just don't know where to find it. Inspired by the #1 Christian single "The Hurt & The Healer" from MercyMe, this book shows how Jesus can take our hearts and breathe them back to life, how "grace is ushered in for good, and all our scars are understood."
Are you ready to discover how Jesus can be the Healer of your hurts?
"I am thrilled about this eye-opening, life-changing book. Rules do not set us free, but being set free by the truth is real! It's going to be exciting to see how God uses The Hurt & The Healer in so many people's lives. I can't wait to watch it happen!"--Amy Grant, Grammy Award-winning songwriter and recording artist
"I won the Winston Cup Championship in 2000, but the next day was one of the loneliest of my life. First disappointment, then anger, and eventually depression. You name it, I've experienced it. I was excited to read this book, because there's so much here that I want to grasp. What Bart and Andrew have written will help you discover your real purpose in the midst of this broken world we all live in."--Bobby Labonte, professional NASCAR driver
"Take a journey into the real grace of God―not grace for those who are good enough but the grace for those of us who aren't. As Millard and Farley beautifully reveal, we are the people the Great Physician has come to heal."--David Gregory, New York Times bestselling author of Dinner with a Perfect Stranger

He also hones in on the importance of forgiving others and ourselves and God for the hurt that has happened to us in order to find the healing. Especially important that we accept God's forgiveness and quite punishing ourselves.
Another key point is knowing who we are in Christ and to stop seeking approval and acceptance from others.
Each chapter ends with a focused prayer as well as some deep rooted questions for us to ask ourselves.
Every believer should have this book as a central part of their library.
