- An exciting rush filled with new twists and turns page after page. I have found that there are rarely any good YA mystery novels, and Hush was a fresh breath of air. Unlike so many books for young readers, the characters in this book were perfectly sculpted to be realistic, people you could actually run into and their tales could hold truth. - San Franscico Book Review

When not at her desk writing she can be found hiking, sailing, or skiing. She enjoys chocolate in any shape or size, too many cups of coffee and laughing (often too loudly, as her daughters say) with her friends and family.

You switch between several POV's, from Blakely's, to Max, to the villains of the story. Helping you to understand absolutely everything that's going on. And making you want to warn the character because you know that something's coming.
This is a sweet novel that's good for all ages. It's smartly written, with humor and wit. This is a wonderful author that I can't wait to read more from her.
Blakely is away at school attending Lakeview Academy when she meets Max. She wonders why he is always staring at her. Why this beautiful boy would be looking at plain old her. Max is at Lakeview under false pretenses. He stumbled upon some information regarding a missing royal heir. With the help of his Professor, he is investigating the truth to the matter. He didn't expect to have feelings for Blakely. but he does and when thing starts to unravel, Blakely becomes a target. Will Blakely survive her true calling before she realizes who she truly is? Will Max and Blakely survives everything thrown at them.
This story was fun and unique. There were good guys and bad guys. The mystery unfolded right before my eyes, and I absolutely loved Blakely and Max. Their union was so sweet and heartfelt. This was such a wonderful book. I look forward to reading more in this series.

It's a teenage love story...not a great work of YA literature...which is fine.Read more
