Came crushed inside box, roughly 1/4 of one bottle had been squeezed out through an opening in the foil seal. Looks like a heavy weight was put on it and the pressure just pushed it out. There was an interior envelop so the liquid was contained until that envelop was opened. In terms of smell the actual sauce is perfect with a heavy garlic aroma. It seems fresh but I will have to throw out the bottle that opened for safety. This would have better value if both bottles were usable.
