Some tracks are just that-a hybrid of metal and hip hop; occasionally throwing in alternative rock as well.
The use of distortion on With You is incredible-in fact nearly every track has something wonderful to offer. The lyrics of most of the tracks are a fantastic exploration of values and mindsets.
It might not matter to any of you, but somehow this entire album succeeded without any strong language, and without any mention of gore, sex, money, or going on about how great they are.
This was great at the time and is still great today!

I recommend this album to anyone that likes Linkin Park, especially if you are a newer fan so you can hear how they originally sounded.
Papercut Live: One of LP's big singles from their legendary Dockland concert. We see here how Chester adds to the verses even though he didn't in the studio. A great buy.
Points of Authority Live: One of LP's best songs. All I can say is that the LP live concert rivals studio releases.
A Place For My Head Live: I love here how Chester lets the crowd sing half of the bridge building up to his scream.
My December: A slow moving song that is still an amazing masterpiece. It is the one song that can take the most gentle and unrock-like beat and make a great song out of.
High Voltage: This song is a remix. Look for the Hybrid Theory EP for the original. The beat is the end of Cure for The Itch. Mike's rap shows how awesome he is. His witty rhymes use science to deliver an underground bonus that could have been great on the radio.
I have to say that any LP fan should have Hybrid Theory Special Edition in their collection.
