Product Description

HydRemote's 2 part cable allows you to interface the GoPro HD Hero and HD Hero2 cameras with a variety of remote control devices, both wired and wireless. The HydRemote Cable System allows you to power your camera on and off when used with remote control systems such as the Pocket Wizard. Remote control functionality is achieved by programming the GoPro camera to begin recording or taking photos when the camera is powered on (aka “One Button Mode”). Additionally, the HydRemote Cable, when combined with a modified GoPro BacPac door and the supplied compression fittings, becomes watertight. Camera, housing, and remote controller not included. Irreversible modification of a GoPro BacPac door with a drill is required if waterproof functionality is desired. Use remotes with 2.5mm or 3.5mm plug or jack connectors. Just add a remote control built for any of these cameras: Canon EOS: Elan series, Digital Rebel (300D), XT (350D), XTi (400D), XSi (450D), T1i (500D), T2i (550D), T3 (1100D), T3i (600D), T4i (650D) and XS (1000D), 60D; PowerShot G10, G11, G12 & G1 X / Contax: N and 645 / Hasselblad: H series Pentax: K110D, K100D, K200D, K-5, K-7,K10D, K20D, K30, *istDS, DS2, DS, DL2, DL, and D / Samsung: NX10, NX20, NX100, NX210 & NX1000; GX 1S, GX-1L, GX-10 & GX-20 / Sigma: SD1, SD9, SD10, SD14 & SD15 / or add a PocketWizard
