Plus, it comes in the same sizes as most at coffee shops, so you can get your caffeine fix without adding a disposable cup to the mix.

Used in every Hydro Flask made, TempShield is the double wall, vacuum insulated technology that guards the temperature of your drink. Bring ice water with you in the morning, and we promise you’ll still have ice in the afternoon. Hectic morning getting in the way of your coffee sipping? No problem. Hydro Flask will keep it hot until you’re ready. There is also no condensation or heat transfer to the outside of the bottle, ever.
Hydro Flask's insulated water bottles are made of high quality food grade 18/8 stainless steel. The bottles have no liner (like most aluminum bottles) and are BPA free. Unlike plastic water bottles or single wall stainless bottles, Hydro Flask will keep your beverage of choice at your preferred temperature for hours, whether you choose hot, cold or room temperature liquids. All Hydro Flask products feature a lifetime warranty and are double wall vacuum insulated. They are designed to be lightweight, making them great for long hikes, days on the beach, hot yoga classes, golf, long road trips or everyday office use. Even when filled with ice, the exterior of your Hydro Flask will never leave a puddle on your desk, drip on your shirt, or sweat in your bag.

I didn't see many reviews saying their kids used this so I thought I'd put it out there. And for anyone who wants to throw their 2 cents in yes we've seen the doctor she just SUPER likes to drink water because Grandma told her it was healthy. Grandma's!
I'm going to pump this mug down to 4 out of 5. The actual mug/flask/container is fantastic. I love the texture, size, and heat/cool retention of the mug but lid that came with it absolutely stinks. When you take a sip, it leaves residual liquid under the cap and leaks everywhere; you can feel the heat/cool leaving the mug from the cap; and the hole you drink out of is just too small. The only positive about the lid is that it's definitely leak proof and it's more sanitary than most. I replaced the flip lid with the Hood River Stainless Steel screw on lid and I really like it so far.
I give this mug a 4.5 out of 5 stars (so far).
First off, I'm becoming a mug connoisseur. I have tried a bunch of different mugs looking for the perfect one. Hopefully this will fit the bill.
I'm looking for one that will hold as much liquid as possible that will still fit in a cup holder. -- check
Leakproof so that I can throw it in a bag and not worry -- check
Stays hot/cold for a LONG time -- we'll see
Wide Mouth to put ice in -- check
Ice won't get in the way when drinking -- we'll see but I think it work good because of lid opening
You can chug -- I think good enough
Can mow with it -- check
I like it so far. It's a good size. It's comfortable to hold but it's big enough to make you think you got a lot of liquid. The powder coat is nice and it's got a good texture so it's easy to grip. It looks like it would be durable. It fits in my Timbuk2 messenger bag side pocket great.
Impressed so far at the vacuum seal. With some of the cheaply made mugs you can feel the heat transfer but not with this thing. From the side of the mug you can't tell if the contents are hot or cold.
The lid is okay so far. It's decent to drink out of. The opening has a little bit of resistance to it as you can't take a huge gulp but it's quite a bit bigger than some such as the Zojirushi so I don't think that's going to be a big deal. I've got to hand it to the Thermos Stainless King in this area as you can take a huge gulp if needed. The Thermos is just too small (I have the 16oz). The lid is definitely leak proof. You don't have to worry about it spilling out as long as you get that good positive snap on the cap which I'm happy with. You also get a snap whenever you push the lid back to hold it in place which is nice. The only concerns I have is the fact that when you take a drink there's still a small remnant of liquid that stays on the lid. It would be better if there was a little channel to draw that liquid back into the cup as this may cause sanitary issues or small leakage around the lid from the liquid that stays on the top. The next small concern I have is the heat retention of the lid. Although I cannot feel any heat transfer from the mug itself I do feel a little bit of heat coming from the lid. It's very faint but unlike my Thermos Stainless King or Zojirushi where you can't feel any heat transfer, I feel a little bit here. The heat transfer from lid doesn't automatically seem to decrease the temperature of my coffee but I'll use it for a few days before making a final decision on that.
Another positive, I like the fact that the section you place your lips is covered for two reasons: 1, sanitary; 2, I plan to mow with it and don't want grass/dust to get down into where I'm drinking.
Another negative is that it's so tall that it won't fit under my Keurig.
Overall I'm pleased so far but this is day one so we'll see how it goes.
