Hydro Flask's insulated water bottles are made of high quality food grade 18/8 stainless steel. The bottles have no liner (like most aluminum bottles) and are BPA free. Unlike plastic water bottles or single wall stainless bottles, Hydro Flask will keep your beverage of choice at your preferred temperature for hours, whether you choose hot, cold or room temperature liquids. All Hydro Flask products feature a lifetime warranty and are double wall vacuum insulated. They are designed to be lightweight, making them great for long hikes, days on the beach, hot yoga classes, golf, long road trips or everyday office use. Even when filled with ice, the exterior of your Hydro Flask will never leave a puddle on your desk, drip on your shirt, or sweat in your bag.

+ Keeps ice water icy all night long. Still keeps it cold for most of the day, even in Texas heat.
+ Whew! It will keep coffee hot hot hot! I am not "lava lips" and my coffee was undrinkable even an hour later. I had to drop a couple of ice cubes in there to make it bearable. That being said, it didn't get close to cold before I could finish my cup.
+ The coating on the bottle is heavily scratch resistant. I cringed when I dropped it for the first time onto concrete. Barely noticeable now.
+ Easy to clean.
- Can stain if tea or coffee is left in the container over night. Not really the products fault, so they keep the star.
Pro-tip: Make sure you are getting the mouth size that you want and that the accessories are made for that mouth size. Research this a bit first!
TLDR: Haven't looked for another water bottle since. This is a buy, and it should last for a VERY long time.
If you're an active person I'd recommend this bottle over other sizes since it travels better than the various wide mouth bottles. The standard mouth is too narrow in my opinion. If you're looking for a bottle to keep at your desk or around the house, I'd steer you towards the higher capacity wide mouth bottles with a flip-top straw lid. With those it's easier to take a casual sip, and you won't need to refill them as often. All in all I'd recommend Hydro Flasks to anyone looking for an insulated water bottle. They're high quality, durable, and come with a great lifetime warranty for peace of mind.

My 21oz standard mouth HydroFlask's vacuum seal has been compromised after ~6 months of ownership. Of the three HydroFlasks I have ordered from Amazon (2x 18oz wide mouth and 1x 21oz standard mouth), two have had defective vacuum seals--a failure rate of 66%. Maybe I've just been unlucky, but this is an unacceptably high failure rate. I'm currently submitting a warranty claim and will post updates as appropriate.

I was able to ship my HydroFlask back for replacement via USPS ground for ~$4. The order has been processed and my new flask is in transit. Expected arrival date is about a week from now. All in all it will have taken about a month to get my flask replaced, if everything goes smoothly. I'm glad that HydroFlask has a warranty system, but it's very slow. Hopefully this new flask will last for a long while.
One thing I did alter, however, was to add a silicone sleeve over the powder finish of the water bottle. I took a sleeve from one of my glass Takeya bottles and worked it on over this one. It took some doing, as they aren't exactly the same size, but once I got it on it looks like it was designed to be there. You can find silicone sleeves here on Amazon - the slightly smaller ones than this bottle will fit, you'll just have to stretch it.
I'm not sure if my extra added layer of insulation improved the rate of heat loss, but it worked very well for me. Plus, with the silicone sleeve I don't have to worry about dinging it up if I drop it, and I have an extremely sure grip on it.
