This is a durable & sturdy hose. But it came in ruined. It was rolled so tight for shipping. It has permanent kinks every 6 inches & larger as the roll got bigger. I've tried to soak it in hot water & the kinks return. Already made cuts to set up my system & the hose is collapsed in almost every kink. Not happy with the way it looks. I'm going to have to research & find another place that sells the hose. Completely waste of time & my money. Great hose, But Definitely did not look like the product in the description. They ruined a great product.

Damaged due to packaging

The tubing is very soft and due to the way it was packaged it now has permanent folds. About half of the 25 feet roll is ok since it was coiled correctly but the other half was folded more than rolled. This has resulted in multiple flat spots (about every 12 - 15") in the tubing which restricts the flow. This material is very soft and needs to be coiled up without any sharp folds.

This is great because it is easy to work with. Looks good too. But did not fit well over barbed fitting. Zip-Tied all connections to stop leaks. And it was A LOT! of ties..

First the good- nice flexible thick walled tubing for best results use the same brand fittings
Now the bad- make sure you order about 4 ft more than you will need. The first 2 ft or so on both ends has creases from packaging can mostly be removed with a heat gun but still present

A lot of people are giving poor reviews because this item comes tightly wound. Which is true and when you try to unwind it; it's difficult to get it to bend the way you want. But if you pour hot water through it, the hose becomes much more malleable.

The tube lining was much thinner than most tubes of this variety -- most are 3/4" ID and 1" OD -- this was definitely a thinner 7/8" OD.

There were more than a dozen kinks that would never have come out - largely due to the thin hose lining.

It's obvious from comparing this tube to the one purchased from this manufacturer last year, you can easily see they have reduced the quality and thickness. It had multiple kinks when unraveled. Can't afford to risk buying this item again.

Great, heavy duty 3/4" tubing. I wanted something that was super sturdy and reliable for an indoor basement hydroponic system (no leaks please). This tubing is awesome for that.

Tip: I did find that warming it gently with a hairdryer made it much easier to straighten the tube.

Watch out for kinky hose!

Hose arrives coiled very tightly for shipping, and the inner coils were kinked on those I ordered (all coiled the same).
I was unable to get these kinks out by straightening the hose for days, and even heat would not assist in removing flow restricting kinks from the hose. This issue left only about 1/3 of the coil without kinks and usable.
Perhaps a pressurized warm fluid would fix these kinks, but not 100% flow out of the box.

The hose itself is very flexible and reasonably thick walled. The bits I salvaged have served well.
This is either a production (coil diameter) or packing problem, the product itself is as advertised.

Worked very well for the pump I intended to use for, Hydrofarm AAPW160 160-GPH. The tubing was very stiff and came in a roll almost as pictured but less sloppily in a shrink wrap. I used very hot water to soften it up to straighten up somewhat. Had to do two rounds until it was a lot easier to handle. It fit nicely on the pump with no extra needed. Would buy again.
