These would be a bargain if they lasted longer. Do not buy if you have a chewer.

These large dog toy balls are the same size as regulation tennis balls but are softer and the felt fabric is slightly thicker. They appeared to be made well upon opening the package. I gave one to my dog who is a 3 year old chewer and within 5 minutes he had peeled off half of the felt from the ball and had swallowed it. About an hour later I noticed that the ball was broken wide open and the thing had to go in the trash. The second ball lasted about a day and met the same fate as the first. I am not going to give the remaining two balls to him since I have no idea if the fabric and/or rubber interior is toxic or not. I will keep looking for a more durable toy ball that is not cheaply made like this product and not solid rubber like many others that are available..

Look it's just a tennis ball but it's not really a tennis ball.
If you have a big dog with strong jaws you are probably better off with the real thing.
My 11 month old Dobie crushed it as soon as I gave it too her.
Being a dog she's still interested in it but now it has no bounce which isn't saying much considering it had almost none to begin with.

My 2yr old Yorkie is 6lbs and wanted so badly to play w/ a full sized tennis ball she found. We came across these and they are the perfect size for her to have a blast with. They are more squishy than a typical tennis ball. Therefore, she can get a better “bite” on them when playing. She can get about 1/2 the ball in her mouth. Thus far after having them for a week, we’ve only had to put one out for her to play with. However, I do find myself trimming away the separating fuzz to curb her from “eating” it. She is pulling at the ball, but this isn’t fault of the ball at all. I just have a playful little girl who is excited about a new texture of toy. She’s not a destructive player, but if she had much bigger of a mouth, I wouldn’t give these to her. It would be way too easy for any bigger of a dog to destroy them in no time!
