This is a very handy little saw for small jobs. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold and use. I looked at several compact saws before purchasing the hyperikon. The kit comes in a case with an extra blade and a few other items. Please understand it is only a 5 amp tool, so it isn't designed to cut 4x4's and other large stock. It does do a very nice job cutting small stock and thin sheet products, such as pegboard and other thin materials. I would definitely recommend this saw to anyone who needs a cutting tool for crafting or a hobbyist. I have found several uses for mine around the house and I keep one in my tool box at work.
I was cutting angles on 3" wide, 5/8" ceder boards for a craft project and it worked great! Very easy to use, light weight, easy to maneuver and adjusted it to just cut through the 5/8" which worked like a charm! I have a 7 1/2" skill saw which is great for my bigger projects but just to big and bulky for what I was doing. I can see that I will be using this little saw a LOT more than my bigger skill saw!!
Used on Worxs saw to frame in 200 sqft room addition and install about 200 sqft of cement board siding and it's just now starting to dull. The original Worx saw/blade was not cutting straight until I installed this blade. I would definitely recommend these blades!
