I thought this cradle looked more stylish than the others. It does work. I removed the plastic insert so my HTC One phone would fit with its protective case. Fits fine. Charges fine. I docked it a couple stars because it requires 2 hands to get it on cradle and to take off cradle. Cradle is so narrow and light weight, it slides around easily. Takes a slight amount of pressure to put into cradle and to remove, I have to hold cradle with one hand and pull up on phone with other... doesn't slide right out, requires a little tugging.

All in all, not a bad docking station. Took a couple weeks to get - came straight from China. Price was cheap. I keep it next to my bed and dock phone while I sleep. I'm going to get another model to have downstairs by my TV chair. I'll see if it slides on and off any easier...

This is actually manufactured by a company called Temei. Their item number is TEM-0290. It has a thin removable plate that allows me to plug in my phone while it has its silicone cover on it. With the plate in place, the phone plugs in by itself. Either way it fits snug. It also has a small blue light near the bottom left corner of the phone to indicate it is recieving power. But you sort have to be looking down on the charger, not straight on, to see it. I kind of like it that way; I can see it in the dark to find the dock, otherwise unnoticeable.

I bought four of these in 2014. During 2016, two of them failed. They just stopped communicating data with my computer. At first I thought I had a software/driver issue. However shortly thereafter, the actual charging function failed, tipping me off that the dock itself had failed.

Still, I liked this dock in all other aspects so I order two of the same as replacement. The failures are the cause of the one-star-ding.

Good looking and well made charging dock. Charges my HTC One in the same time my normal charging cable does. Very sturdy and the plastic is of higher grade. It isn't Hyperion's fault, but would love to see phone go into docking mode when docked.

works fine. the charging led on the front is superfluous, as the HTC One already puts on an LED when charging, and I'm trying to reduce the amount of blue light in my room at night. Nothing a small piece of electrical tape can't fix.

I got this dock charger to make it easier for me to plug in my phone at night in a pitch-black bedroom. The little blue light really helps in finding the dock. In the dark, the dock doesn't completely solve the fumbling problem, as it can still be challenging to fit the phone into the cradle. Besides finding the slot for the phone, a bigger issue, through no fault of the dock, is the micro USB connector, which needs to be fit together with a fair degree of precision. That means a bit of wiggling around to get the plug seated. In the light, the dock is considerably easier to use than a plain cable. I can get the phone in and out of the cradle with one hand. Overall, for ten bucks I'm not disappointed in the least.

Other things I should point out are that the dock is surprisingly stable considering the way it looks, as others have mentioned. It takes more than a few ounces of force to push the thing over (with the phone in it, of course). Also, it comes with a removable insert. With the insert in place, it's supposed to fit the naked phone, though I haven't really tried it. With the insert removed, a phone with a thin case, such as my Cimo frosted case fits just fine. Finally, I thought I should reiterate that it comes with a cable but no transformer.

I was looking for a simple desktop cradle for my HTC One that could work with the Official HTC Double Dip case on it. There seems to be plenty of companies re-branding what appears to be the exact same stand. I opted to go with Hyperion primarily because I'm familiar with the brand and this one had less going on up front. There's a very faint blue led on the front that seems to only serve the purpose of locating the cradle and knowing that it's in fact plugged in. Other than that, there's nothing else on the front and gives a clean design. The HTC One with HTC One Double Dip case fits well and slides in hassle-free - almost like it was made just for it. Keep in mind that you have to take the insert out to use it with a slim case. Leave the insert in to use naked. I like it. Simple and others don't have LED or have ugly logos on front and I do like being able to easily spot the stand in the dark.

Bought two, one for the nightstand as an easy way to plug my phone into a charger and another for transferring data on my laptop. Without the insert, it holds the HTC One with a silicone case and my newer HTC One Mini with a silicone case. The insert, while designed for a tighter fit (unnecessary, IMO) would not allow the phone to sit down far enough on the connector to make contact. A big advantage of using this stand is that you don't have to stare at the end of the connector and your phone to figure out which way to plug it in. The orientation is correct for both the HTC One and the Mini.
