I thought I give this new SNES mouse a try as I never had one since I had my SNES when I was a kid and still have many of my games from then (and then some). One thing to point our is that the mouse is optical and for the most part has excellent response time for the SNES. The mouse is a bit snug when plugging it into the system but nothing that bothered me, but might for some. I did end up testing quite a few different games to make sure this mouse worked and with the exception of a few games it did that. Here is a list of games I tested:
Jurassic Park - Worked great on the first person view. (Must plug into port 2)
Tin Star - Very Fun hidden gem mouse shooter. Worked great.
Troddlers - Worked great. Very responsive.
Arkanoid: Doh it Again - Worked but was jitty at some points. Not sure if it was the game or mouse but got through the first few
levels without dying.
Wolfenstein 3D - Again great response. (Tip: You have to double click on the right mouse button to open doors.)
Doom - Did not work. Tried both ports. Tried port 1 with a controller and port 2 with the mouse. Nothing.
Caesars Palace - Worked great. Played some hands of blackjack.
Advance Dungeons & Dragons: Eye of the Beholder - Did not work. Cursor was stuck at the top of the title screen.
Overall it was a pretty fun experience and the mouse worked great. Looking forward to finding more SNES mouse games to try.
