"Survival. Heartbreak. Grittiness. Beauty. This book threw me into an apocalyptic world so vivid and real. I loved the journey! This fed my dystopian-loving soul." ~Alta Hensley, USA TODAY Bestselling Author
About the Author
She's a mother of three teenage girls, a medical doctor, a quirky loner, and a social human being. She has traveled the globe, has had more lovers than she can count, has loved and hated, succeeded and failed, has gone through marriage and divorce. She has seen darkness and despair, as well as light and happiness.
All these experiences, she pours into her tales, taking her readers for a wild ride while twisting their minds. She loves showing that stories can be different even if the trope is the same.
Nicolina believes that life is too short for regrets and in looking forward, no matter what. She wants to enjoy every moment, and cherish life.

Sorry to be so vague, but this story needs to be read to be understood and my simple words aren't sufficient enough to get it said properly. Know that once you read it, you will understand exactly what I mean and will get why describing Eve is so difficult. I loved Adam and Eve and their story of discovering each other, and themselves.
It is an adventure, a philosophical journey, and a romance with just enough spice to remind you that you are in fact reading a love story. I read hundreds of books a year, and every now and then one really stands out and brings something new to the table. I Am Eve is that story.
Survival of the fittest, or the most devious ones is the order of the day. But there are still groups of people that try to do their best under the circumstances.
And then there's Eve. Alone in her house, a forgotten victim of false idols and cruelty, left behind to fend for herself.
One can only surmise there are unknown forces at work when Adam stumbles upon her by accident.
And that's when the magic begins.
Adam is darkness and Eve is light, both battered and disillusioned but together they become whole.
And hope grows again. For love, for friendship, for family.
Eve really does seem otherworldly, and that's not a comment on her looks or anything, it's all her demeanor and personality. There's just something other about her, and it's fascinating. I feel like she knows so much more than she should be able to know, she just knows. I admire her strength and her power. Some people might not see it at first, but it's there.
Adam, hmm... I'm not 100% sure what to say about Adam. I like him, but I don't think I would've liked him if he hadn't met Eve. I think that seeing and meeting her really did things to him.
She is not aware of the watcher that has plans to make her mine and to bring her out of the rickety caste, it is falling down and yet she is unaware of the plans that I have should he be able to get her under his roof and to become a female for him and him alone.
The combination of different sorts of individuals make this an extremely enlightening read and so the ideas he had for the woman that has garnered his interest.
This story is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing and entranced by the final outcome.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
This book has suspense, angst, darkness, as most of Nicolina Martin’s books do, and also lust and love. It was an unexpected story that made me think more about what happens around. I really enjoyed it and wish there’s a sequel, or a series out of it.
