The catch is, you have to actually do the exercises--every day. Yes, that's right, just buying the book and paging through it won't help! :-)
After reading through the whole book once, pick an exercise and do it for several days. Then try a different one. When I go to bed, if I don't use the CD, I just cycle through the exercises and am usually asleep after two of them.
One important thing to note is that people who have TMJ problems should not do the exercise that involves lots of yawning. If you have no jaw problems it is a great exercise, but any problems with your TMJ (jaw joint) and skip that one or it could get worse. It took a week or two for my jaw to hurt, but after stopping for a week my jaw was fine again.
I had Amazon send a copy to my mother and she just uses the CD with great success.
