When I first started reading this book I felt as if I was reading the previous one, "If Lovin You Is Wrong". However, as the novel progresses you get to see the story from Roman's point of view, with a few added twists. The storyline is bananas and it involves Lance, Holiday and Roman 3 co-workers who all end up in a crazy love triangle. Everything is told from Roman's point of view, so if you read the first book, a lot of things get explained, like Roman's trip and Holiday's house being burned and all that. After reading this, I really blame Holiday for half of the drama, she really should have broke it off with one of these guys, the rest I blame on Roman b/c he knew Lance wanted Holiday first, and his dogging ways bring out some psycho women! Lance is really the victim here. This book shows you there really is a thin line between love and hate! The ending was very surprising, but I was satisfied. I look forward to this author's next book, she's got a wild imagination!

i cant believe this writer would call this a second book to the first one. this was a waste of a good read i could have read something else i feel like i wasted my time as well as my money. she never pick up the story line until the last 3 pages of the book. i felt like i was reading the first book " if loving you is wrong" all over again. alisha yvonne the writer should have not wrote this book if she didnt have anything new to write about. i feel robbed and i am sure other readers are going to feel the same way. and for this i will not be reading anymore books that "alisa yvonne" should write in the future. and the publishing company should be ashamed that they published the same book twice just to get money from the readers. OUTRAGED!!!!!

Overall I enjoyed this book and the one written before it. I fell in love with both Roman and Lance for various reasons. I HATED the way the book ended!! WHY did he have to be taken out that way??? What was really puzzling about the book was the characterization of Roman. Throughout the majority of the book he was seemingly very understanding, thoughtful (even when he was making the wrong choices regarding women), rational and intelligent. Then, all of a sudden it seemed as though the writer turned him into a selfish, irrational neophyte, who was hell bent on creating bloodshed. Don't get me wrong, I loveeee Roman (even more than Lance). Maybe that's why I didn't want him to end up the way he did, and maybe that's why I feel so compelled to write this. But the transition that he made from one extreme to the other, was abrupt and without a believable antecedent. I mean yea, he came from a disfunctional family, and was eventually heartbroken. Yet I just can't see how that would all drive him (a rational, intelligent, white collar businessman who could have had anybody else he wanted)so instantaneously to what he ended up doing (don't want to give the story away). Or maybe, there just wasn't much of a buildup within the story, to what he ultimately became. When the thoughts of murder and such immediate obsession began forming in his mind, I had to go back and read passages over to make certain that it was Rome who was thinking those thoughts. His character shift was so very unexpected and without a progression or a true understandable metamorphosis and growth of his character. He change came about at breakneck speed, and did not prepare the reader in such a way that made his transition believable. I felt so sorry for him. He was trying his best to please.Read more ›

After reading the first book I was very excited about reading this one. Reading this book was like reading the first book. The new stuff did not happen until the end of the book. It was only about five pages of action that you did not get in the first book.I WAS TOTALLY UNSATISFIED.
