A fictional account involving the Apostle John and a few friends - Adriel, an angel; Mary, the mother of Jesus; Sarah (a young woman that lives next door); Lazarus (Yes, the one that Jesus raised from the dead); Adi (another angel) and a few dark beings.
John is still alive and waiting for the Lord to return and while waiting, John wrestles with his memories, doubts and fear. His constant companion, Adriel has been with John since the wedding in Cana (where Jesus turned water into wine) and is more or less John's guardian angel. Although this is fiction, the reader will notice that much of the material has come directly from the Gospel of John in the Bible. Note: This is NOT a preachy book! There is a mystery involved and an old secret that must now come to light. Evil (and evil beings) attempt to overcome John and his secret, but as always, Good triumps over Evil!
It's a great book and a page turner! You may even start to think about that older, eccentric gentleman that lives next door or just down the road and those flashes of light? Maybe a sign that your Guardian Angel is nearby. The ending seems slightly abrupt but there is a sequel coming out soon.
