Do read a few pages to your husband, because he will laugh too. Don't read any of it to your 11-year-old daughter because she will giggle herself silly. And then she'll have ammunition.
It's witty and funny and the best dose of medicine for uptight, type A mothers, slacker moms and all moms in between.
Seriously spend the money. Take the time. Read this book...just pee right before you crack open the cover. There's nothing that relieves stress and makes you feel as good as a hard laugh!
Super duper thanks to all the mommy bloggers that contributed to "I Just Want to Pee Alone." You gave me just what I needed.

I came across this book in that same random way, but as soon as I saw the title, I knew that I had to have it, as I too, just want to pee alone. I love that this book is a compilation of greatest hits from some really fun blogging mom's out there because it gave you a taste of many different mom voices, and although you can picture how different your life is from the lives of these women, there are parts to each piece that I found myself either laughing out loud to or vigorously nodding my head. And that was just plain fun.
I recommend this for any mom, as this is just a fun/funny book about the insane and humorous lives we all live while trying our best to raise wonderful little human beings. There's no judgement here, and that in itself makes this a great collection as well. I'm sick to death of hearing about and reading about the "mommy wars" and luckily haven't had to deal with much of that myself, but like most mothers, I am the person who is most judgmental of myself and my mothering skills (or lack-there-of). And it was a relief to just forget about that and know that I'm not the only one and laugh.
I also liked that each chapter was a fresh voice, and as I read through I bookmarked blogs that I need to read... whenever I have spare time. So maybe in eighteen years???
