"Powerful. Very powerful. E.L. Farris was born to write."--Author Taylor Fulks.
"It isn't often I have the pleasure of reading a literary masterpiecethat is so compellingly written I can't stop reading. I Run, a novel in the Sally Lane Brookman Series by E.L. Farris, is an excellent work ofliterary fiction. I Run has a cast of complex characters and a very well managed plot line that carries the reader on an emotional, spiritual and oft timesuplifting journey of self discovery. Farris is a literary geniuswhose books will reside on my "shelf of excellence" beside otherliterary greats like J.D. Salinger, Ann Leary and Harper Lee."--Jeannie Palmer, AIA Reviewer
"This is a self-help book (disguised as a novel) written by the coolestchick on the planet! I Run's lead Sally is your shrink, your sister (ifyou like her), your favorite boyfriend, she's your BFF since elementaryschool and the side of you only the mirror has ever seen. E.L. Farris, thanks for being so real, so profound, so frank, so heartbreaking and so damned witty."--Lisa Cerasoli, Author
From the Author
My characters face and OVERCOMEhardship, pain, and tribulation while receiving the unconditional loveand support from friends and strangers alike. And with God's gracesmiling on them, my characters desperately seek glimmers of light, ofhope, and of redemption, amid a sometimes nightmarish landscape.
Someone recently told me that my work is devastatingly beautiful, and I think they capture an essential element, the main point really, of IRUN and RIPPLE: how we can discover great beauty amid great devastation. My work is profoundly pro-human. It's not angry. It's not hopeless. It's ultimately, really, a song of love.
