I thought that I would be shocked when I read this, but it only makes me think about my life and how hard it is. I know you want to get the subject out in the open. Did you think about the impact this would have on someone who has lived it and still trying to survive?
Still a good book if you don't mind the details of rape.....
On the bright side, the author does have the potential to write provocative, thought-provoking material. With attention to writing style, and character/idea development, this has the potential to be transformed into a very powerful piece.
I loved this book. Such a powerful read that I read in 1.5 hours. Even though this was a fictional book. The story was very real and very heartfelt. I would personally like to know about her mother and have a few other questions answered. But very good quick read!!!!
