Getting these two older styles allowed me to choose from 3 types because the one that came with my computer was different from these two. I use the one on the right in the picture. Its more of a rough dome and attaches to your finger with less effort.

The caps shipped in a well-packaged envelope, and work decently well. While they're a bit stiffer than the OEM cap, the soft rim cap provides exactly the responsiveness I was looking for. I use a ThinkPad W520.

works okay a little bigger then my OEM one but was able to make it work. Had to trim the top a bit and the bottom side just so it would fit in my M4400.
