As kids ice and Emma allready had feeling for eachother, but because Emma was to young he pushed her away and left to the MC. When Emma her Friend Brianna dated a member of another MC and she dit not come back, Emma tried to get help from ICE. They both still loved eachother and from that point on there story begins. I enjoyed thi s book very much and can' t wait till next book comes.
OMG!! Amy Cecil can write an amazing story. Man do I love me some MC novels and Ice did not disappoint. I was hooked from the very beginning and I honestly couldn't stop until I devoured this book from beginning to end. When it was all done I nearly screamed at the top of my lungs. Ice is gritty and violent. There is danger lurking around every corner and you never know when something explosive is about to happen. This book has plenty of angst and nail biting suspense. The ending will leave you completely shattered and begging for the next book.
I loved Ice/Caden. His character is so deep. The book starts off with Caden's past and it helps the reader understand how he ends up the president of the Knight's. I loved the character development, it made me love him that much more. He is a great president. He looks out for his brothers and always has their back. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty and is very smart and strategic. When Emma enters back into his life he will do anything to help her and now that their both grown adults he's no longer afraid to make her his. Emma is a little uppity and has a lot of judgments when it comes to bikers. I love that Ice wasn't willing to help her if she couldn't accept his lifestyle and respect the people willing to risk their lives to help her. As much as I didn't like her at first, she grew on me as she was novice learning what in the club was all about. I like the different approach Amy took and made Emma's character have no knowledge about anything, she didn't even know the lingo. This added so much to Emma and Ice's relationship. As much as he wanted her, he wanted to make sure that if she truly wanted to be him she had to accept his way of life, if she didn't she could hit the door.
This book was filled plenty of twists that made this book that much more interesting. With Emma and Caden entering back into each others lives they start to realize that Emma's best friends disappearance may have more to do with them than they thought. This story got more and more complex and it was the most exhilarating rollercoaster ride. I'm telling you I couldn't get enough. And that ending was so friggin crazy. I desperately need the next book.
I highly recommend this book especially if you love MC novels. It is that good.
Can Cade, (Emma still calls him that, she's the only one who does,) and the MC help, is there more to it than there seems, you can bet your life on it.
I don't normally like reading books with cliff hangers, and I never saw that end coming, what a twist that was, it totally blew me away, and I can't wait to continue the story in book two, Ice On Fire.
I received a readers copy and voluntarily leave my own honest opinion.
