I purchased these gloves as my first pair. Just started riding and wanted to test out a lower range glove before I go full on. I am completely disappointed with these gloves. First the fit chart isn't accurate. I had to return my size Large glove as they were too tight at the base and palm. The vendor had me return the gloves and they immediately sent me an Xtra Large pair. The fit was awkward. The finger length good but the base seemed short. I wore the glove for less then 1/2 day....YES! less then 8 hours of riding and the seams are breaking! The section were the thumb and the back of the hand meet. Where the leather and the mess connect completely ripped! The velcro is also coming apart and ripping.
Now I know that these aren't top of the line but for a brand like Icon and a $35 glove I would expect them to last at least a couple months but DAMN! less then 8 hours?
I cant return them because I'll then have to pay shipping for a third time, causing these "29er" gloves to become a "59ner" pair of glove with a $10 quality. **SEE PHOTO**

I've had these about two years and they still work great. They have great airflow and keep my hands cooler when it's hot. They have a couple minor wear and tear spots, but for how cheap they are and how long they've lasted, I'd buy these again any day!

I really like these gloves. Much better than anything Mechanix offers and then are comparable in price. They fit very snug which offers a lot of dexterity. I can actually strap my helmet on while wearing them. Leather palms and rubber knuckles seems like enough protection for me, and they are very cool to wear, even in Texas.

The good:
I do like these gloves. The fingers and palm fit great. I used the fitting guide to find the right size and it was spot-on. The gloves are also nice and cool (though I think the vents on the tops of the fingers are just for show) and I think these would protect well in the event of a crash.

The bad:
After just three days of wearing them, just as they were starting to break-in, the hook and loop attachment on one (yes, just one) of the goves started separating from the rubber strap. I can still use the gloves, as it seems the rubber bit was just to help with adding some substance to the hook and loop fastener. It just looks crappy because the rubber bit is still attached at the other end (sewn), so it dangles.

The other thing I don't particularly like is that there is zero padding on the palm. If your motorcycle vibrates at all and you like to ride long distances, you may have some trouble with cramping or numbness.

Buying sight unseen has bit me again with these gloves. Would have found a better pair at Home Depot. Feel cheap, too tight and are really light. My usual size is large but these feel like medium. Just don't like at all.

Love the glove, great design, great air flow, but, they run SMALL. I wear a Large almost everyhting and for the fisrt time, I got a large glove like I always do, and they are actually a bit to tight. They werent uncomfortable by any means, but after longer time periods they began to hurt. Ended up giving them up. so if you jsut within the size range or have thicker hands, go larger. Just my suggestion.

These gloves are excellent quality and very reasonably priced for what they are. They provide pretty good ventilation for summer riding and they look great. I recently had the misfortune of putting them to the test when I laid my bike down at low speed and skidded on my hand for a few feet across the pavement. The left glove now has a scuffed palm, but is still perfectly serviceable. I had no injuries other than my bruised ego.

These are summer gloves that are good for riding in relaxed conditions. Just bare in mind in that there are no kevlar protection on the knuckles so if you're looking to do some aggressive riding, look elsewhere.

Inner-lining of the gloves are super soft and it almost feels like just your regular leather gloves with full finger movements. If you're looking for aggressive riding gloves that feel like medieval metal gloves that only has up and down finger movements, then this is not it.

My only complaint is that wrist strap/velcro could use more tightness so that I can really securely tighten the gloves.
