I've made 100's of self filling forms and contracts, etc. which allowed me to email them to my customers and they would fill them out on their PC, then print the completed form, sign it, and fax it back to me. Some even rescanned the form and emailed it back to me. It's a great advertising tool when used this way also.
I've used ver.3, 4, 5, 6, and now using ver 7 but ya know what? There is no difference except for the interface (what you see in the side bars). Even my old ver 5 loads in Win7 and runs perfectly so don't think you need a new version just because you now are running Win7 or Vista, etc.
Scanning works good in all versions, not JUST the Prof.Ver. Just select "image" on the upper toolbar and then choose "source" for the Twain Driver to use.
As for the 800 sample forms, even in ver7, they have not been changed since the year 2000. Each version (incl. v7) does install them just fine. Some of the old versions would leave them on the CD so you could use them from the CD or just copy them into your installed directory. NOTE: These samples are just that, crude, incomplete and most not usable without some work on your part to finish them up. But they do make a good learning tool.Read more ›
