So impressed with this kit. The quality of everything is very good. My first attempt turned out beautiful and was so quick and easy!
I was hesitant at first to buy it because it seemed such a gimmicky item to use. I've heard others say it's "cheating" if you don't roll by hand.
Well, all I can say to that is "Go on with you!" I'll never go back to hand rolling sushi again.
I'm not one to do reviews. This is my first review on Amazon, though I've been a customer for years. I was so amazed by this little gadget, I want to tell everyone.

Bought this as a birthday present for my son. He loves sushi. We are able to make it at home now very easily. Honestly, my biggest issue is the sticky sushi rice... not the maker. I like the avocado knife, but the peeler part didn't work out well for me. I believe the avocados we got weren't ripe enough. My son uses the chopsticks multiple times a week with other meals. They are well made and the little duck table holders for the chopsticks are too cute. The two different bamboo mats are of decent quality as well. I'm sure there is a useful difference between the two, but I like the one I've been using. The thick plastic bag ours came in didn't last long; the plastic zipper is cheap. We keep it all in a two gallon ziplock bag. There is plenty of extra room in it. Overall, great purchase... you may need to refresh your knowledge by watching a video a time or two (can be found on YouTube as well), but after that you should get the hang of it.

I had never prepared sushi so learning how to prepare it with this kit was so much fun. I had to buy a separate knife as the kit doesn’t bring one but other than that it was great, especially comparing it to other kits that tend to be very expensive. I personally tried to fit too much rice and ingredients on the bazooka so this was a problem when closing it but that was because of me getting too excited with the food, so just remember not to fill it too much otherwise you will be eating a lot of rice before the sushi is ready.

So the first day I got it, it actually came out so terrible, so I told my baby, who be doing everything perfect to make it the next day... sure enough he got it looking pretty nice, im gone get some Philly, tempura shrimp, jalapeño.... the possibilities are endless really lol. The restaurants don't want the people, its good lol
