Packaged very, very well. UPS damaged the outside of the box, but inside was packed so well, there was no damage to the inside.
Took longer to unpack it than assemble it. I'm a 5 ft 1" tall grandma, and I assembled it myself. I did ask for help one time: I lifted the front of the bike and had my stepson slide a stabalizer in place. The instructions were really good. Every piece was marked and labeled, and the instructions were written very well.
The hardest thing for me was the weight. I expected to be able to open the box when it arrived and take it upstairs piece by piece. Bad plan. The main frame of this bike is welded into one piece, and it weighs about 120 lbs. My husband and stepson were able to get it up to my office, but it wasn't easy.
As far as quality of the ride, I only tried it out for a few minutes, but I was able to crank up the tension/resistance and easily ride standing up. No wobble. Also, the resistance was easy to adjust, and didnt have only 2 settings as one reviewer said. Mine is smooth and you can adjust it to any resistance you'd like. The computer items are a little small, but easy to figure out which is pulse, which is speed, etc.
Definitely a 5 star product. It looks, feels and acts like a quality bike. I highly recommend it.
