A day doesn't go by when we don't read about some new attack from ISIS or the growing threat of a nuclear Iran. But there is other news, better news. Leave it to Chris Mitchell, esteemed journalist based in Jerusalem, to write about the story behind the headlines. Despite the bleakness we so often read about, Chris writes in his latest book that The Light of the World still shines His hope into the darkest of places. This book is a must read! --Janet Parshall, Nationally syndicated talk show host
ON THE IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL So I believe if this deal goes forward, we are at risk of entering a second nuclear age, and the loss of life will be not in the tens, not in the thousands, not even in the hundreds of thousands but in the millions. --U.S. Senator Tom Cotton, R-AR

In a sane world a book like this wouldn’t have been written. In a sane world where the globe’s only superpower is comprised of citizens, 77% of whom consider themselves Christian, a book like this shouldn’t have been written.
That it was written is evidence of a world, its nations, and its peoples which have forsaken their fellow man, and by this neglect laying bare the unplumbed capacity for evil in the heart of mankind, an evil measured in the blood of innocent life.
But there is hope!
And Chris Mitchell chronicles that hope as seen through the eyes of the Middle East’s burgeoning Christian church. You’ll get firsthand accounts of lives transformed by faith in Yeshua, of young and old who have found hope in their darkest hour. By the time you finished this book you’ll likely be challenged and frankly burdened by what you have learned.
The question is: What will you do with this knowledge?
I learned of and, subsequently, read this book. It is a real eye-opener for what's going on over there. Ever since reading this book, I always try to remember to pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. They (even the children) have the courage to stand up to Lucifer and Satan's army whereas we're too busy worshiping Hollywood or trying to figure out which bathroom to use.
