I've had it for about a month and I'm returning it, sometimes it'll act up and not work when I plug in my flash drive. Also I really wish it had a charge port to charge my laptop which was inconvenient, overall just save your money.

JUNK... will not charge computer and operate a WD USB 3 drive at the same time. Something is wrong in it's circuitry to allow high current to more than one device. I can not at all recommend this and wish I never trusted some Chinese "junk" product. For now only Apple product works....

5 stars for the Seller - for the expediency of sending another unit when the first one was delivered to the wrong address, and for the courtesy of reversing the charge after I complained about performance (or lack of) of the product.
0 (zero) starts for the product itself. If you are looking for a way of connecting to your MacBook, get a true docking station like the one sold by OWC. This one fails to power the Mac through its USB-C connector (though it specifically advertises it) and fails to adequately power any USB HD that you may want to connect to it. In short - useless.

Did not work. When I contacted the company for a refund they stated: "I am afraid that our device/today's technology would only support U-disk 2.0/3.0 and mouse, some larger hard drives like VD burner/ Disk Player are temporarily unavailable. When connected to a larger power source, it could cut off the current to protect the device due to voltage limit. So USB function to a larger power source and charge the laptop at the same time isn't workable. The power consumption for both hard drive and recharging of the MacBook exceeds the maximum supply of the charger, please unplug the charger while using hard drives." Since the whole point of my getting this was to be able to backup my MacBook to an external hard drive without it running out of battery, this was completely useless today and never stated anywhere in the product information. After some back and forth, I did get a refund, but these limitations should have been clearly stated.

I am amazed how many people rate this piece of crap with more than 1 star. It does not charge the MacBook, On top of it electric current is fluctuating and switching of and on constantly connected devices. Bears extreme risk to damage your apple devices.

It didn't work with my external drives. I tried jump stick drive and then also bigger hard drive but this USB doesn't power up the external drive to be able to read. I am now in process of returning it.

This is trash, do not buy it. I purchased the item to use for charging my new macbook. Did not work. Ended up paying 32 dollars for an item that can be purchased for 7 or 8 dollars.
