To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This software has caused my Windows 7 computer to lock up several times. Task manager does not work with it. I had to do a hard shutdown a few times. I finally gave up and uninstalled the program. When I did that, my mouse did not work and there were other non functioning issues. I did a restart and I had a system crash and had to do a system crash dump. My computer appears to be working now. I hope I do not experience any other problems as a result.
Was very glad to have been able to buy this because I remember playing this game a lot as a kid and I wanted to play it again. Truth be told, this is one of the best, or perhaps the best, video game version of Family Feud. The more recent Family Feud games look incredibly aesthetically displeasing with their horrendous character models, but this version is just you, the announcer, and the menu, and really, that's all I want from a Family Feud game. You can get through a round in about 10 minutes or less, and you'll have fun doing it too.
I give this game 5 stars not because it's the best video game of all time or anything, it just does a very good job of being accurate to the show and, most importantly, it's fun. You can't really ask for anymore than that.
Good game, but some of the answers are outlandish. It seems like some of the answers should be combined but in order to have enough answers they kept the answers separate. There are some answers which just make no sense. Such as what do farmers do daily - answer 'Clean their farms'
My husband and I are now addicted to playing this on our laptop. =)
It doesn't have a lot of fancy graphics, but we really didn't expect it to, and it doesn't take away from the game for us.
It's been almost a year since we purchased it, and we have encountered no glitches and no repeat games. It lets you choose teams (create names or teams) and it saves the names for future use and to keep track of high scores.
The sound is pretty good--buzzers, applause. They even have "live" crowd rumbles and (my favorite) a lady that coughs if you take too long to answer.
The single-player mode is fun to use, as you get to go all the way to "Fast Money" every time.
When I saw the price for this game other places ($20!), I was shocked that we got the full game for such a good price here on Amazon.

This one has been fun for the whole family. The high score tote board makes it even more fun to try and break our old high scores. It's nice that the program keeps the high scores, which can also be deleted to start over. We've played over a hundred times and always get new questions.
I use a Windows Vista laptop with no problems with the software. The purchase, download, etc. was quick and easy.
I use long cables to connect the laptop to the big screen TV's computer video input along with an audio input (cable) via the computer headphones jack. I bought long video and audio cables from a computer store to do this so that I can sit in the ole recliner to key our Feud answers in. I simply turn the computer audio way up and switch the computer graphics options to "built-in display and monitor" (after the cable is connected) and then set the TV Menu to PC input and away we go. This seemed easier than buying a wireless setup.
We enjoy playing the "1 Player" mode so that we can beat the software's average player scores.
Can't say that we go to Fast Money every time, but it's fun, inexpensive entertainment.
