CardSharp2® - a superlight and supersharp utility knife, the same size as a credit card. Just three ingenious folding operations metamorphosise the card into an elegant pocket utility tool. Slimmer and lighter than an ordinary knife, updated features include a stiffer, polypropylene body (living hinges guaranteed for life) and a unique safety lock (cannot open in pocket or drawer and is child proof). The extra long stainless steel surgical blade ensures longer lasting rust free sharpness and the superlight polypropylene body includes a built-in protective sheath that helps prevent injury or blunting.

The ironic drawback to this folding knife is how concealable it actually is; you may forget that you have a knife on you when you shouldn’t. When going through airport security, it is easy to forget about this tool, which is a prohibited object on airplanes. Just remember to be thorough in checking your pockets before flying and you will be fine.
This knife has proven to be extremely safe and durable. It comes with a safety, which locks the blade into place while not in use, and the silver blade won’t dull down with occasional use.
The best part about this product is the price. You can get this quality tool for under $15.00. It is definitely a 5-star item and I would recommend it to anyone that finds a pocket knife to be a useful tool.
I have the black plastic one with the silver blade. I always keep it folded up in my wallet. It is an excellent utility knife. When I am in a situation where I need a sharp blade, I pull out my wallet and unfold this little knife. It is very handy and easy to operate, and it is sharp as a razor when it ships. I have had this for 4 or 5 months and have used it at least 30 times. It is still sharp.
Here are situations in which it shines:
-If my pencil is broken and I don't have a pencil sharpener
-If I need to cut a zip tie or a tag or a string or a rope or a cord or a fishing line or those plastic toy boxes with the crimped edges that are just awful
-If I need to cut food
-If I need to open a box
-If I am trying to survive, and I need to sharpen sticks into spears, so I can hunt marshmallows or other small mammals
-If I need to impress a boy
-If I need to freak out a girl
-If I need something to hold between my teeth while I swing from a rope
-If I want to make new friends at the airport
I really appreciate the design as well. It is sleek looking open or closed.
The folding mechanism is a marvel of engineering and design. It folds from a flat card into a knife with only three hinge lines and the knife is very solid when open. It feels almost like a fixed blade knife with a tang.
It is also valuable as a novelty. I have young cousins who are boys and they think it is the coolest thing ever when they see me use it. They all keep asking me where I got it. I need to keep this in the back of my mind as a gift idea for someone who is responsible enough to have it, because it is so cheap and so cool! It would be a great gift.
I use the heck out of this thing and am not worried about breaking it because I have another one that is unused right behind it in my wallet. I will keep it even when it is dull to use for less sensitive tasks.
