Per my subject line, I originally purchased this sugar because of it's commitment to sustainability and fair trade. I think that's worth paying for, although this sugar is not unreasonably expensive. Now that I've tried it, I am also impressed by its flavor! It has a subtle fruit note and a nice finish that isn't too heated (vs. some raw sugar that has heavier hints of molasses). I'm bordering on being a super-taster, though, according to my friends... so your experience may be more like, "it's slightly more flavorful than white table sugar." Anyway, enjoy!

I've been trying to get away from artificial sweeteners, too many other "things" in there that aren't good for you. Cane sugar is natural, it comes from the earth. How can that be considered bad? Moderation is key, and that's where most of us have issues. Anyway, I like that this is Non-GMO, unbleached and there's only 1 ingredient...pure cane sugar. This stuff tastes a lot better than white sugar, there IS a difference. I've purchased this twice and will definitely purchase again.
