Very comfortable, fits true to size, the sleeves surprisingly aren't too short for me which was great.
Anyhow, this shirt was awesome fitting, and I want to order another one because the fit and the warmth was awesome!
I'm 5'9", 146 lbs, 40C and Medium fits perfectly.

Because some of Amazon's listing descriptions for Icebreaker items have very few details about the products, making it difficult for the customer to make an informed purchasing decision if he/she is unfamiliar with this brand of clothing, below I'll type some general information about Icebreaker clothing and some personal impressions of it, based on my experience of their products from 2000 to early 2013.

Note that my review is quite long and usually only the first half of it is shown on this page. If this happens on your screen and you wish to read the second half, all you have to do is press the "read more" button at the bottom of the review and Amazon will show you the rest of it. :-)

OVERALL IMPRESSION

Icebreaker's marino wool items are generally made well, last a long time, are easy to care for, feel fantastic on the skin, are "natural", don't get smelly easily like polarfleece does, let the skin breathe, etc.

Many of my Icebreaker items have been worn and washed several hundred times and are still holding up much better than would be expected.

I am a BIG fan of this company's products. For my overall experience of them from around 2000-2010, I would give them a solid "5 stars"!

However, I regret to say that my opinion of the items I bought from Icebreaker in 2012 was not as high. In late 2012 I bought 7 different Icebreaker items (most of them in various sizes) and decided to return all of them because they were not as well-cut as the very "same" items that I bought in the 2000s (which I still have and wear, so I can make like-for-like comparisons easily).

Based solely on my 2012 experience of Icebreaker products, I would give them 3 stars, meaning "it's ok".

This fits true to size (I am generally a size 2, weigh 103, 5 feet tall, and the XS is just right, maybe a trifle long in the body because I am short). It is a high-quality, cute shirt. If you wash it in cold water and hang it to dry, it will not shrink. I did not try putting it in the dryer, as the instructions say not to do that. Not itchy at all! Soft lightweight wool.

I purchased two of these in anticipation of snow when visiting family in Michigan…and I wasn't disappointed. It was warm enough to wear with a vest when the sun was out (51 degrees)…and light enough to not feel bulky when worn under a sweater (when it was 32 degrees). Now I'm a Southern California girl…so I love my warm weather and I'm not a fan of being cold. Having said that, I like that this kept me warm while in MI. I have several Smartwool base layers and these Icebreakers haven't pilled even after several washings (all three of my Smartwool base layers pilled). Great product!

I just got this item and have only worn it a few times so I will have to leave an updated review later on.
Sizing review: I am 5'8" and usually fluctuate between 120 and 130 lbs, my measurements are 34 bust, 27 1/2 waist, 36 hips, 41 hollow so I have smallish boobs, wide shoulders, smallish waist so as far as sizing goes, its a good fit for a base layer. Not too tight and not too loose. I usually like looser fit tops when wearing street clothing but as a base layer, the medium fit me well. The sleeves are a good length for me as well, and I think the overall length is ok, probably fine for most people although I prefer a few inches longer. Anyways, if your proportions are like mine, a medium is perfect.

I bought three of these for travel. It works to layer up for anything from hiking to going out to dinner! The only objection I have is the label on the sleeve. When I wear it at night I have to hide it. Otherwise, it dresses up or down and keeps me very warm. I wear it for walks in the winter, as well.

It is slimming and looks great even for work - you may wear it with skirts or black pants. Great for sports too - I use it as a second layer under the warmer Icebreaker turtleneck (300) for skiing. I'm 5'9", 146 lbs, 40C and Medium fits perfectly.

This is my second icebreaker at 200 weight. I like that it is warm in layers for outside activities and comfortable as single layer inside. The Crewe top fits snugly, actually more than I would like.

What's not to love about Icebreaker products? I'm heavier than the model, with some middle bulges, but it wasn't as tight fitting as some of the other more tailored athletic products, so not too bad, considering it's bright color. I'm done wearing black. And this is definitely not black and dull, but a gorgeous color set. There's a slight sheen to it, which I have to get used to, but it adds to it's bright & happy feel:) Also, note that a lot of the Smartwool shirts I've gotten are too "see through" in fabric construction. I don't want to be too hot (menopause), but being that merino wool breathes so well and dries near-instantly, and this shirt is 100%, I went with this, the slightly heavier product (200 vs 150 ice/185 smart) which is perfect for coverage--with this, I could say to husband, "Look Honey, no bra showing through!" I'm very pleased, and my yoga cohorts will appreciate the tastefulness as well, I'm sure. BTW, the most expensive shirt I've ever bought, but worth every penny, even if I wear it 3x/week, all winter!
