A girl, having been left at the altar in the past, meets a young carpenter/farmer and single father when he buys some land from her late Father's property. The two families must co-exist. There is an obstacle though...the girl is a proper School Teacher and as such is not allowed to marry.
There are horse chases involving wild stallions, a goose that is quite the protector, and much more in this charming tale.
A good romance novel to read.
