Very poorly constructed packaging, the game packaging was torn and worn. The cards inside however were plastic wrapped. It's too bad the packaging was so worn out, you feel like you received a used item. The game itself is some what entertaining, the biggest issue is that you go through the game fairly quickly. We went through 4 games within maybe 15 mins. (2 players). I think with more people it might be a bit more fun. It's fairly easy to learn as well. I'd recommend purchasing from a different vendor for the sake of a better, less worn out package.

Easy to learn, this card game does not disappoint. My daughter, age 10, and I had the rules down within a few minutes and have played several times since. The game moves quickly which allows for us to play a round in just a few minutes and enjoyable enough to keep us playing for much longer. The only improvement I could suggest is that the cards were more sturdy, they are not laminated and will ware over time. Overall, I am glad I tried this game. I had my doubts if they could turn Tetris into fun card came - but they did!

Tetris: The Card Game: 1-4 Players, Ages 8+, Average Play Time = 10-15 Minutes

The kids didn't receive it well at first, mainly because of how limited players were in what cards they could play on their turn. It came down to being lucky and drawing a good card to match whatever the matrix was showing...which isn't all that strategic. I adjusted the rules a bit, allowing all players to have three cards (plus the one they draw on their turn) giving them double the options for playing cards. To compensate for how quickly someone could go out, I increased the score required to win. Twelve score cards made for a quick five to ten minute game, whereas fifteen lengthened the game a little longer. The kids were much happier with my variant than with the original rules...as they had more ways to play their cards.

As long as potential players go into this game with the expectation that it is not as strategic as the video game or the board game Tetris Link, they'd probably enjoy themselves. For this reason, I think the game would be excellent for younger kids who aren't all that into medium to high strategy games. The cards force players to visualize how the matrix would look after placing the piece...which keeps with the overall theme of Tetris. Visual acuity and imagination are always good things to encourage in growing children and this game is light enough to start kids off early.

The final verdict? It's a light, mostly luck driven card game that might appeal to those who just want an excuse to socialize, or to younger kids. Those going into this game wanting a challenge will be disappointed, but with the right variants and house rules, it can be made to fit and work with almost any family.

The classic video game puzzler is now a card game and the transition from screen to table is near perfect. Taking turns, 1-4 players race to victory.

Here is a basic synopsis of the game. Each card has two sides a "Puzzle" side and a "Puzzle Piece" side. The player will only have two puzzle pieces at any given time to solve the puzzle. The player is allowed to rotate a piece to fit like in the game. If they have a match they play that card and record the number of lines that disappeared because of the action by flipping their score keeping cards over. If they can't solve the puzzle they will have to drop one of the pieces and lose a line which would erase their score by a card. Note: the number of lines determined to win are decided before the game starts. Players keep drawing and playing cards until they have a enough lines to win.

In the 2-4 players version of the game, there are special card sides that can help a player to steal another player's card to solve their puzzle or to do various damage to them. There is also a rotate the order of play card, but it is only relevant if 3-4 players are playing.

I really enjoyed this game and I think the price was great for the amount of fun I have had. Tetris's simple, addictive charm is truly timeless!

This is a game that is not really hard on rules. It is well paece and easy to learn. If there is something to complaint is that the game is not very complex to allow for different strategies to play, it lacks depth. But I will still recommended for a drinking game or if your a fan of Tetris. Is a neat little item for a Tetris collector.

A cool thing about this game is that you use both sides of the card, wich I never seen in card games before.
