One thing I enjoyed was seeing some of the items we had collected on our own, turn up used in different ways than we had planned- that was fun and inspiring!
I am not sure how this happened, but I don't feel I should have to go to the work and expense to return it for a new one....so I will keep it.
Honestly, this is the first book I've ever reviewed that I haven't actually READ. We don't need to read this one to enjoy it. We simply like looking at the photos so we keep it on our bathroom shelf or lying around in other rooms where we can just look at the pictures any time we want. Sometimes we'll sit and discuss which rooms we like best, etc., and the book has brought us much pleasure.

I appreciate all of the options the author offers at each turn, and her encouragement to find your own style by using the examples in the book as a creative starting point. Many of these nurseries have a personalized feel rather than looking like a cutout from a retailer's catalog (only a couple nurseries looked dated or overdone). This book is more than inspirational, it is also informative and I find myself returning to it often.
