About the Author
Anna Harrington fell in love with historical romances--and all those dashing Regency heroes--while living in London, where she studied literature and theatre. She loves to travel, fly airplanes, and hike, and when she isn't busy writing her next novel, she loves fussing over her roses in her garden.

Sooo. Miranda has decided she needs to snag her a Carlisle brother and right quick. The best way to do that? Sneak into his room late at night and seduce that bad boy. Only problem...she kinda sneaks into the wrong brothers room and finds herself face-to-face, and, erm, other-bits-to-other-bits with his older brother who just so happens to be the oh so proper duke who's sponsoring her upcoming Season. *deep sigh with a side of facepalm* Yeah.
I really adored Miranda. She's lively, spirited, full of heart and love and just a wonderful woman who was easy to love. And goodness Sebastian. He was a handful. A new duke who's a bit stodgy and way too set on being proper. He could be so charming and so frustrating. I loved when he let his guard down and wanted to just throttle him now and again, too. But, yall, I'd totally lick him. *nods slowly*
Their romance was so blasted fun and their differences entertaining as all get out. I loved seeing her enthusiasm and lust for life rub off on him. There were laughts and swons and some night heat, though, there was a wandering hymen that didn't know quite where it should be.
All in all, a delightful start to the series. I had a great time with these two while they tried to figure each other out and realize that all their excuses for why they were wrong for each other was why they were so perfectly right for one another. And now I'm ready to see all of the Carlisle brothers meet their matches. It's sure to be a good time.
Sebastian is a newly minted Duke who suffers from guilt of not being there when his father dies. He was with an actress. Now he finds himself having feelings for Miranda but she is not Duchess material and he says this over and over and over. Miranda is beneath him but he is sexually drawn to her and she eventually becomes sexually drawn to him. Only when she realizes she will never have his brother. Robert is in love with another women and is going to offer marriage to her.
This dance between Sebastian, Miranda and Robert continues all the way to the end of the book. When a Light in Sebastian mine comes on by way of his mother. The ending is rushed and not well thought out.
