Editorial Reviews

"This is the best conclusion that I have ever read on a series! I mean, you have guns, love, heartache, pissed-offed-ness, excitement... Not only could I not put this book, down I went and read it a second time, making sure that I didn't miss anything." --Kelly's Nerdy Obsession
"I loved the ending to this serial. Prentiss makes the decision to do what is right in her heart regardless of the consequences." --Somertime Book Blog
"This is an amazing serial. You must pick up these books and read them. You don't want to miss this. I WANT more. I NEED more!!!!" --Heather, Goodreads

This book is summarized as the final Episode because it begins with chapter twenty-six where Episode 4 concluded, until the end of the book. Prentiss now understands everything about Gallatin and his people; she understands that they did not originally come to her planet to hurt them or cause death. The final decision that she has to make is whether to let him be hurt by the one that she once thought she loved or to use what strength that she has left to help save him. It seems obvious which decision she will make because love conquers all, at least in books and movies right?!

The author is very vivid with her descriptions in her final episode which I absolutely found that I could stop reading! I had to read the whole thing because I really can't let myself stop reading on a cliff hanger... which was what the end of Episode 5 was. Gallatin and Prentiss are so young, yet they had to be strong and wise in order to outsmart everyone else holding them back or telling them that they could not be together. What really drew me in to this story was the summary originally. This was a romance; however, I took a leap and tried it because of the science fiction. I normally do not like anything about aliens but this was a totally different twist. The author made them seem as close to human as possible which I felt that readers could relate to more.

In my opinion, I would have loved to have been able to read an ending where they met back with Cato and the others; however, the author's ending was exciting and happy nonetheless. I recommend this book in it's entirety, meaning all six episodes, to everyone who likes romance and science fiction.

Tears blurred my eyes, but my grip on his shirt tightened. One thing I did know for sure, I wasn’t letting him leave me again.

Absolutely Beautiful and Perfect ending to an Amazing Series. I am so honored to have had the chance to read this series. In this final installment of Behind the Stars, Prentiss has grown so much. After all the hurt, loss, and betrayal that she has gone through, she comes out stronger and more determined than ever. She knows who and what she wants, and will let nothing stand in her way. Going into this series i was a little nervous, being i am not a huge fan of love triangles. But i have to say, it was executed perfectly. I was very satisfied and happy with who she chose. My heart broke for her when she had to make that choice, it was the obvious choice, but still hard to make. She finally realized she needed to stop living in the past and focus on the future. Even though that future is unclear, it is worth it in the end, knowing she will be happy and finally be living the life she has always dreamed. The ending ties up alot of loose ends, but also leaves you wanting more in a good way. Jackson is her past, Gallatin is her Present, who will be her future? And what will that future hold?

Thank you Leigh Talbert Moore for this Amazing series. I cant wait to see what you give us next, hopefully more of Prentiss and........ I will be waiting patiently for whats to come.

Well, if it wasn’t for someone staying behind to watch over Gallatin, things would have ended a lot worse. Prentiss and Gallatin are saved from Jackson and his group. Although Gallatin has agreed to step into his new role, he also wants Prentiss with him. Prentiss wants nothing more than to go except she is scared.

The town gets a new life where everyone forgets what happened except Prentiss and Gallatin. It’s hard to adjust to what everyone now remembers. Things seem to be back to normal with Prentiss working to get her veterinary degree. Gallatin still needs to return to his people before his uncle comes for him but he is willing to wait for Prentiss.

I loved how this series ends. Prentiss is such a strong character and she ends up getting what she truly deserves. I do feel for her when the girls she became friends with in the camp completely forget that and go back to treating her like crud, but the alternative is a lot worse.

This is a great series but I recommend that you get the entire compilation. Once you start reading it you will not want to put it down for anything, including downloading the next part.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars

If I Fly brings Behind the Stars to a conclusion. I had been wondering if it would be a nice tidy ending, or if there would be a cliffhanger leading into a second season. While Leigh did manage to wrap everything up, I still find myself hoping for a second season. There is so much that I need to know! I’m not sure if a Happily Ever After is realistically in the stars for Prentiss and Gallatin (as realistic as a book with aliens can be), but it would be sure nice to see them fight for it.

My only complaint about this episode is that it was too short. It rushed ahead, barely giving me to time to say farewell to the characters. It didn’t help that the last third was a preview for another book! It tricks me every time! I kept thinking there would be more! :P

Overall, this serial has been amazing, and I can’t wait to see what Leigh comes out with next! :D
