All of Max Lucado's Wemmick books are entertaining, imaginative, well written, and beautifully illustrated. They have a fantastic message about self-esteem and making decisions to do what's right and not be swayed by what other people think is right. All around another wonderful book and a great addition to any kid's library!
In our world, we have to teach our kids what matters. We have to teach them that there is a real purpose to their lives and they do not need to be seeking the approval of the world but rather the approval of God.
For families that do not believe in God, I genuinely believe that this book still has relevance and value for their children. The world is so hard on our kids no matter our beliefs and we have to teach them that there is so much more to life.
