Product purchased: Ikea 301.841.73 Holmo 46" Floor Lamp
This floor lamp is fantastic, highly recommended!! We bought it with the intention of brightening up a dark corner near the front door in our apartment, which we were very pleased with the nice soft light it produced.
However, after having to bring in a string of indoor only LED lights a bit of imaginative genius struck and I thought, put the LEDs IN THE LAMP! The result is shown in the attached pictures. I puts off a really nice ambient color in the corner and looks really good. Of course, you do not want to run a regular bulb while the LEDs are in there as they could get cooked and burn through the LED wire.
I was thinking about experimenting with putting a standard socket LED bulb that the colors can be changed on.

I received the product fast. I have Amazon prime. Unboxed the item and a rather small box, the shade is made of what appears to be tissue paper. You can easily poke through by moving The lamp from place to place so it's always best to grab from the top where the metal is.
Do not put anything near it that will rip the shade. This also has a floor tap that you can click with your foot to turn the item on or off.
Cheap lamp but good to use in the guestroom or room that's not highly utilized. I would not recommend it for a cramped room.

Before I write my review I am well aware these are much cheaper at the Ikea store than here. Being that I live in central New York I have no close Ikea near me. So this was my only option.
My search began for new floor lamps when I moved in to my new condo, I looked literally everywhere with no luck. Lamps where either too expensive or just not my style. When it comes to lamps, furnature I like modern style and wouldn't settle for anything but.
These lamps came in a very small box and took no more than 5 minutes total to put together 2 lamps put the lightbulb in a plug them in. The lamps are sturdy enough for me, they do wobble a little but only if you touch them. Mine did not come with light bulbs like I guess some others did, I decided to put 40w led equivalent bulbs in and they look beautiful. Not too bright but not dark by any means.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would buy them again if the needed. Deffiently better than driving 4 hours trying to park and dealing with the lines and trying to save a total of $10. Just buy them you will be happy.
