I've wanted one of these ever since my cousin got one on a trip out of town. We don't have IKEA in our state. I finally found a pair here on Amazon for a great price and immediately ordered them. I was so excited. They came and I hand washed them, dried them to use to reheat some spaghetti. Well, It worked fine, so the steam releases out of the top, while not making a run over mess in the microwave. It was all good and fine until I go to wash it after our dinner. It cracked. Not all the way through, lip edge down to beginning of the lid. It really disappointed me. It is not something so bad that I would return it. It's still perfectly usable. I love them. Wouldn't trade either one of them for anything. Wish I had bought them years ago. Save you on wax paper, paper towels, paper plates wasting to cover your reheating food in microwave.

Keeps microwave clean without have to use wax paper or paper towel all the time. I used it to reheat food. Generally, a few minutes with a break in between each minute to stir the food. The cover doesn't even get very hot. Mine has not melted and I don't see how it can. I've used it for about a month every day.

Pack of two that covers the average 10-inch plate and directly over food that is being microwaved. Keeps the splatters off the wall; contains the steam that is produced and helps to heat food thoroughly; and they clean up easily by hand washing. What else could you ask for?

Exactly as described, yet hard to find in the stores, like the grey color. Sturdy, not flimsy plastic., bought one for my daughter & she was thrilled. Washes fine in the dishwasher.

Keeps food from splattering in the microwave. Covers most sized plates and dishes with the exception of larger square and rectangle storage containers. Also helps to "steam" as heating food up vs. drying out on edges like when reheating pastas or cheeses.

One of the best Amazon purchases I've made. Easy to clean and has saved from probably hours of cleaning up splatters.

This works great. My only complaint is that it's little hard to pick up. There is a small rim along the bottom, but it would be so much better if there were a rim or edge higher up so you could easily lift it with one hand. Having said that, my microwave is much cleaner now!

It's a little taller than some but it has no grab handle or decent lip to lift it. It would be better to use a plastic colander instead.

This is just a plate cover, but it met my top requirement: that its tall enough not to sit in my food. I hate using covers that have a low center part and that rests on your food or down in your bowl of soup. This one sets up high enough to be out of the way.
A couple comments on the two "controversial" aspects of this cover. (1) the holes in the top: While I did have one indecent where some soup made its way through the holes, it was only on the outside of the cover, it did not splash to the microwave roof. I would not worry about it. (2) how do I pick this up? True, there isn't a grip on the top as most covers have, but there is a raised lip near the bottom edge which makes it easy to pick it up with your thumb on the edge and your fingers on the center depression. After you do it a couple times, you won't even think about it again.
While this cover is kind of pricey for what it is, if you are lazy and need one delivered to your door in 2 days (like me), then pick this one up!

This is a lifesaver for keeping microwave ovens clean!!!!! I do put a paper towel on the turn table to absorb spill over. So now, I NEVER have to clean the interior of my microwave (only God knows how much time and aggravation this has saved me). And, you simply put this in the dishwasher once per week and it comes out perfectly clean. One my best all time purchases.
