My only negative, and this is just me, is that this book was based out of the UK, and I am from the US, but most of the information was still useful to me here in the US.
I would recommend this book to other beginners wanting to get a backyard flock. After reading the book I am happy with the breed choices that I already made. I learned that all of my breeds will lay lots of eggs and most will be broody as well, in case I decide to raise a next generation of chicks from these.
All in all a very enjoyable read!
