This is my favorite of the Home to Green Valley books so far. Brady has followed his brothers to California from Ireland after losing their dad and mother but Brady has suffered far more loss than his brothers. As a result he puts all his time and effort into their new restaurant The Stylish Irish and has really found his groove as a business man and entrepeneur. What he doesn't expect and isn't prepared for is his reaction to the sassy and petite Anna Kincaid.
Anna is a young woman who has had her share of trials and suffered fears no young lady should have to but she has persevered and come back and put all her energy into her eco-adventure tour company. She loves life and adventure and pushing the envelope. But there is one very important thing she is desperate to move forward with right now and Brady is just the guy for the job. At 23 she still holds on to her 'V' card but now she's ready for the incredibly handsome mountain of an Irishman to change that.
With their past histories can these two learn to trust and even more important, can they learn that finding love and happiness for however long we get it is better than never having it at all?
Of the Green Valley Series, Brady’s story is the most intense. His heartaches are common to many but his were all like blows falling one right after the other. Anna’s struggles are no less but involve fear of loss instead of loss of life. To pair these two characters together is nothing less than brilliant. I can’t even imagine the characters, Brady and Anna winding up with anyone else. It is a powerhouse of a read.
