The Seven Compassions are a way of being in the world that, when taken and practiced together, help lead us toward a place of love (instead of fear), peace, and happiness. These women remind us to be present, to live authentically, to say thank you every day, and to be a beacon of love in a world that needs that love so desperately. They take us on a journey from the inside out, and show us that as we work to be more present, balanced, and focused on what is good, we are able to let go of fear, and hurt, and anger. The exquisite consequence is that, once we have let go, we are free to embrace, with open arms, a life full of compassion and love.
The writing is vibrant, fun, and inspirational, and while each author speaks to each compassion, the book is not at all redundant. In fact, I found this way of writing refreshingly beautiful.
Thank you Kara, Kelly, and Jennifer for sharing your stories and your voices with the world.
