I got this game and it is really fun. You get to solve mysteries, find clues, and overall its really cool. When you get the game, you can choose beginner of advanced level. I think beginner would be for 8-11 year olds and advanced for 12-15 year olds.
There is one thing about this game I don't like. Everything else is awesome and fun, but the downside is pretty big. It is so short. Guess how long it took? ONLY FIVE FIFTEEN TO TWENTY MINUTE CASES! I loved this game until it was over after only the fifth case. Its a total joke! No one should allow thirty dollar games to last less than two hours long. I was really disappointed.
Don't get me wrong, this game is totally fun. It was my favorite ds game ever until it ended so soon.
I wouldn't recommend this game unless you like super short games. If you want it for fun, get it. If you want it for length . . . Don't get it!!
I purchased this for my daughter. This is her review: "The description makes you think that it you, as the player, have to use logic and thinking to figure out and solve the mystery for yourself. That is definitely NOT the case. It is the main character of the game solving the case completely on her own, you are really just reading a story on your ds or dsi. And then every once in a while you have boring little mini-games to do, like Spot The Differences, or color memory games. That's all there is to this game. Reading and doing mini-games .You don't solve anything. And it's also really a game that you can only play once. I tried playing it again and it was so boring that I had to force myself to finish it. I can't see myself picking up this game again."
i think this game was so fun and there should be another part to it also, it can on time and i finished it in one day i was so happy that my money didnt go to waste
