I was a bit nervous ordering this but man am I glad I did! This is exactly what I wanted - a sleek, low profile, dual charger for both of my iPhone 4s. I carry two - one for work and one for home. Without the insert fit plates, my iPhone 4s fit right on and sturdy even with their cases still on. It's absolutely perfect and works great. My only complaint is that the led lights to indiciate charge level are a bit bright for my bedside nightstand. Green means fully charged and red means charging. The red isn't so bright but the green, in the dead of night, lights up the room. Nothing a little piece of electrical tape wouldn't fix - I just haven't done that yet.

It was a little tough to get the iPod adapter out of the second slot, honestly they should just ship it with all adapters in the bag. Once that was done it just does what it's supposed to. Well built, well done. Comes with several adapters for your different i products.

I had read some of the reviews before I purchased this device. I was specifically looking for a dual charger that would work with the iPhone 4 with an Otterbox Defender case to charge both my wife's and my iPhones, each with the Defender cases. Some people said it worked with theirs so I decided to give it a try.

I received the charger in the mail and was excited to give it a go. My excitement didn't last very long. :(

With the silicon cover on, I put each phone on the charger and... nothing. I took the silicon off and the green light on the charger came on but neither iPhone detected the charger. I completely turned off my iPhone and plugged it into the charger and got the same green light but no charge to the phone. Last thing I tried was my wife's iPod nano and it did work. For whatever reason it's not working with our phones. Very disappointed. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

I was looking for a dock for multiple iPhones that will sync and charge. This falsely advertised product says that it syncs with your computer. Well, it syncs ONE of the two docks with your computer. Why not the other dock also? Why not clearly state ONLY ONE DOCK SYNCS, THE OTHER ONLY CHARGES?

Why would ExtremeMac waste natural resources making such a useless product? If I wanted to only charge my iphone or ipod, I would not buy a syncing dock. If I wanted to sync, I would buy a dock that syncs both. All they had to do was put a little USB hub in the dock and both devices could sync.

BOO for ExtremeMac for making such a useless waste of a product. Two thumbs down!

I bought his for my bro as a gift. He likes it, and it works well. His biggest complaint is the light on it is too bright. He covered it with a piece of tape or something because he couldn't stand the glow in his bedroom while trying to sleep. With that said, little things bother him, I doubt it would bother me. But be aware it will glow in a dark room.

This product is completely misleading about charging and syncing at the same time. If you want to charge and sync (only left dock will sync) when computer is off or in standby, you have to UNPLUG the USB cable! There is no way around it. This unit will not charge from the left dock if the USB cable plugged in. Only in the manual does it mention this and the manual is nowhere to be found on Xtremac's website. The right side dock will always charge since it doesn't sync, but the left dock has this issue. I'm using dual iPhone 4S with this. This is unacceptable and it's going back.
