Koreen's book should be on the shelf (or desk with post-it notes sticking out) of every instructional designer and learning technologist out there. She does a wonderful job of framing how immersive learning fits into the current workplace and how to implement. Her Learning Continuum (on page 24 when you buy the book) is extremely helpful to have posted above your desk. This book is extremely helpful in moving from what Cammy Bean calls "Clicky, Clicky, Bling, Bling" learning to authentic practice that truly creates behavior change in organizations.

If you're trying to break out of the page-turner course building mentality, this book is a great inspiration and how-to guide. I especially liked the interview questions for beginning an immersive design, and the adherence to the helpful aspects of the ADDIE model while acknowledging it's limitations (ala Michael Allen's SAM). Easy to read style and tasteful graphic design are also what makes this book appealing.
