The world is covered with 30' deep snow following the sun morphing into a red giant. Many have been evacuated to a new Goldilocks world (Alpha Kantabury I). The rapture has occurred and few are left on planet Earth. An extremely successful business man, and owner of the investment banking firm Chimera, Danny Nichols, along with Kelly Edge, and Tilley (the beautiful maid) are left behind in shelters.
Their primary location is in southern Arkansas, near the spa city of Hot Springs, with Tilley being in Hot Springs Village. The shelters are enormous structures built by the WRC (World Relocation Coalition). They are intended to hold thousands and be self-sustaining.
- Danny finds he has vehicles made to travel in the snow.
- When the three of them adventure out, they find themselves in some precarious situations.
- They end up with a goal of leaving to the new world and many adventures await them.

Editorial Reviews
From the Author
The first book "Imminent Domain: Finding Goldilocks" had quite a bit of very intellectual information and unique possibilities as it pertains to scientific theories. Red giants are believed to be much hotter and in this series it explores the possibility of them actually producing less heat and causing an ice age on Earth. It considered the possibility of religion, politics, fundamental principles, and life of another society somewhat parallel to our own. How would another planet react to Earth being invaders?
It is a very engaging storyline that causes the reader to give a considerable amount of thought to what they are reading. It sometimes challenges the reader's understanding of some principles as the storyline and plot progresses.
This story was meant to not only demonstrate the author's ability to push a storyline to a different spectrum but to also be a fun, very entertaining read. In it, I used a much smaller cast of characters and they had a limited environment within the shelters.
New inventions had to be created in order for the characters to traverse the snow. An Op Track and a tunnel buster were conceived. Pictures were included, as well as a glossary of terms, so the reader could very clearly understand the author's intent. Images of the Op Track were actually designed and modeled within a professional three-dimensional modeling software package.
I believe that both of the stories fit well together and book two gives a solid plot and storyline that will bring on a range of emotions and provide a considerable amount of enjoyment before "THE END" appears.
This book could be read with only a slight understanding of a few key points from book one and I will never leave you hanging when you read "THE END."
The story could always continue, but the plot will be complete. I am confident that you will be happy you read it to the very last word!
Sincerely,
NjbV

From the Back Cover
They are sheltered from the harsh environment, but not fromothers. In the absence of God, the battle between good and evil is shifted, andit is every man for himself as evil dominates.
They have specialty machines designed specifically for thedeep snow. A Tunnel Buster that enables them to form tunnels and open roads, andan Op Track that has opposing tracks and travels like a mole through the snow. The vehicles allow them to travel, but also makes it possible for others to reach them.
They find a potentialtransportation to Goldilocks, but they must solicit the help of evil people. Theyfind challenges every step of the way. There are explosions, animal attacks, battles with others, and weather that makes today's hurricanes look like a summerrain storm.
When the chips are down and hope is all but lost, help comesfrom an unlikely source. The Greys that have been so illusive make anappearance.
This epic action packed adventureputs them in several difficult situations:
Will they survive? Will they findtheir way off of planet Earth? What kinds of things go on when evil rules? Howmany must die? How many will live?
It is all answered in ImminentDomain: Left Behind!
About the Author
My life has been unique by most standards. I was born on Halloween and delivered by a coroner (Dr David Baxter, Faulker County medical examiner 1968). They nicknamed me Thumper. To this day, most of my family and friends still call me Thumper.
At the age of five, I scored a ten-speed bicycle from my brothers. They couldn't get along and kept fighting over it. My mom gave it to me. I had to climb up on the edge of the front porch to get it started.
My family was quite large and we would cut wood during the winter to help supplement our income. I remember walking through subdivisions at the age of ten, alone, knocking on doors and asking if they would like to buy wood. I was Dad's top salesman. He would give us $5 if we sold a load.
In tenth grade, I lost my father to a horrible accident. He was literally ran over by a ready mix concrete truck.
In eleventh grade, at the age of eighteen, I purchased a new home and formed a rock and roll band. "Next Please" was the name of the band, and we played weekends and made a demo tape. I was offered two contracts, but they weren't quite what I wanted. I still hold the copyrights to several songs I wrote back during that time.
After graduating high school, I became a welder and went to trade school during the day for welding (paid training from my company) and college at night (Electrical).
I designed and built an adjustable concrete insert and patented it (pat #554 8 939 Utility Patent). I solely held full rights to the invention. I obtained a contract with a company named Meadow Steel in Santa Fe, (Tampa) Florida.
After I graduated college, I began to design machine controls. I have made my living doing this and industrial control repairs for the past twenty years. This line of work has allowed me to travel to Italy, Belgium, Holland, France, Canada, and various places all across the United States.
I married the woman of my dreams on January 1, 1991, and we have two daughters. We have been married ever since..
Sincerely,
NjbV
