I loved the characters and the story, so much so that I finished it in one setting. The story ends with a minor cliffhanger, just enough that the reader has a sense of what the next book may be about. Hopefully it will be out soon!
I highly recommend this book!
This is a great beginning to a new Urban Fantasy series, and I can’t wait to read more about Rebekah, Ignis, and the new hunters. A MUST read!
The action scenes were somewhat detailed but not paced well. And the focus didn’t shift consistently. We’ll see how the other books in the series fare.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
A great read that held my interest and I really enjoyed Ingis, who is a mage and like a comic relief had me chuckling plenty of times but also a mage who is dedicated, compassionate and loyal. I enjoyed Rebekah as well, she was a strong strong woman who fights for the good and I liked her down to earth quality. Jarreth was the groups flirt, Delilah was sweet but determined and Cantor was a man born to lead, all characters I enjoyed.
The story flowed nicely even though at times I was lost considering at times I didn’t know who the author was talking about, and that’s only because I am so used first or second POV’s when reading and not third. Otherwise a great read with more to come as the story is not over.
*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
