5.0 out of 5 stars Imperfect Trust is a Perfect Read Imperfect Trust
by Elizabeth Noyes perfectly joins adventure, romance, and intrigue. I found the story to be engaging and had a hard time to put the book down. I enjoyed spending time with Lucy and the Cameron Clan. ~Lynn
5.0 out of 5 stars Edge-of-your-seat chiller read!
Sometimes the second book in a series is a little bit of a let-down. Not so with Imperfect Trust. I needed a seat belt. And oxygen. Noyes delivered non-stop action once again. If you like edge-of-your-seat chiller reads, liberally sprinkled with humor, romance, and cowboys, this is a good one for you.
The humor is mostly organic, as the brothers in the story interact, which appealed to me as the mother of sons. And almost without fail, Noyes hooks the reader at the end of the chapter, causing several late-night sessions.
I liked Wade Cameron, though he needed an attitude adjustment, but it took me a while to warm up to Lucy Kiddron. She was so...well, imperfect. A brilliant introvert with a too-quick temper, and prone to sulk--not my favorite combo. I wondered if she might be too great a challenge for the Cameron family. Injured and on the run from a ruthless, hateful man, Lucy has to learn to trust. Noyes brings her full circle and leaves the reader with a very satisfied smile.
Elizabeth Noyes is an extraordinary storyteller, with the ability to keep the reader riveted. I will be watching for the next installment in the Imperfect Series. - Betty O
5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read from E. Noyes
After reading Elizabeth Noyes first book in this series, I was happy to see the second book released. Imperfect Trust carries along the story of the family from the first novel, yet is a completely different story line, with some new characters and once again filled with twists and thrills. The chase scene was so well written that I could picture it as a movie scene. I couldn't put my Kindle down until I had reached the end! Bring on the third book! ~Carol
