Neither funny nor suspenseful.

Neither funny nor suspenseful. Former boyfriend, Ray, is the only character that I could believe or care about - and seemingly the only one with any acting talent. The other characters were completely two-dimensional with the possible exception of incredibly considerate and empathetic guy with the incongruous job as an enforcer for a nasty thug crime boss. The plot ultimately had some nice twists in the end but the script and character development was so weak I could not even picture them to be so devious or clever to betray each other. Without imagination and an edgy doubt and uneasiness there is nothing to create suspence. And by that time I frankly didn't care. I was already mad at myself for having wasted so much time in this slow, predictable film with boring and trite dialog.

instead of imperfections in the diamonds, they are talking about imperfections ,in all of the people in this movie. we enjoyed the movie ,very much. it was a different kind of movie. you have a bad , bad guy and a good bad guy and some bad, non criminal people and a girl, who figures everything out.

Weak

Average acting and story line. The twists at the end seem contrived, they didn't logically or artistically flow out of the story to that point, and the characters suddenly display characteristics totally at odds with the persona they had built. It felt like someone wanted to make a happy ending. It was so slow, the dialog so predictable, and the character development so shallow that I kept skipping ahead for the last half of the movie.
